Can I use Tsubook in a live event (during a course, a conference,…)?

Tsubook is a great tool for visualizing the meridians and their points. We regularly receive requests for the right to show Tsubook during classes, conferences, seminars, etc. We want Tsubook to be widely used in this kind of context and you will find all the modalities to do so below.

Definition: A “live event” is understood here as a one-off event, online or in-person, during which Tsubook is shown to an audience to illustrate what the speaker is saying. This can be done through a projector, a large screen, directly on a device, etc. Below you will find all the information you need to legally use the Tsubook app during your live events.

During a live event, the content you can show differs depending on whether the event is recorded or not:

  • If your live event is recorded: you should refer to the conditions on video recordings because your live broadcast will become a video recording.
  • If your live event is not recorded: you can show for free all Tsubook (free content and paid content) as long as you do a short intro explaining what the Tsubook app is and how to get it (ideally with a link to https://www.tsubook.net/en/).

If you are doing your event online, you can learn how to show Tsubook directly in your video conference (Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, etc) on this page.

If you have any doubts about the way you distribute extracts of Tsubook (screenshots, video recording, live events,…), please do not hesitate to contact us.
