Tsubook is a great tool for visualizing the meridians and their points. We regularly receive requests for the right to embed material from Tsubook in videos. Being a small company ourselves, we want to help small players in alternative therapies by offering them free use of Tsubook content for their business.
Definition: a “video recording” is understood here as the export to video of all or a part of what happens on the screen of your device, which you can then edit, publish and/or embed in another video. Please note, however, that the app displayed on the screen at the time of recording is subject to copyright. Below you will find all the information you need to legally use video recordings including the Tsubook app.
Terms & Conditions
You can use video recordings of certain parts of Tsubook (see below) free of charge to illustrate your videos provided that:
- Your turnover (or your personal income if you are an individual) does not exceed € 30,000 per year
- Your video does not compete with Tsubook, in particular the Tsubook Youtube channel (full meridian route, …)
- Each video should display the name of the application (Tsubook) with a link to https://www.tsubook.net/en/. The name and the link can be small but should be readable even on small screens.
If you do not meet these conditions, you can’t use video recordings from Tsubook free of charge. We invite you to contact us to find out about the pricing that may apply to your situation.
Usable content
If these conditions are met, you may embed video recordings of the following parts of Tsubook into your videos:
- The 3D areas showing:
- The 12 TCM meridians
- Tthe 2 extraordinary vessels Du Mai (Governing) and Ren Mai (Conception)
- The first 6 Masunaga meridians (Lung, Large Intestine, Stomach, Spleen, Heart, Small Intestine)
- The first 6 diagnosis areas (Lung, Large Intestine, Stomach, Spleen, Heart, Small Intestine)
- The 361 meridian points
- The skin and the inside of the body (bones, muscles and organs)
- The textual description of the position of each point
Other than that, you are not allowed to use other parts of the app for free for your video recordings. For example, you cannot use for free the list of categories, the list of indications, the 3D view with the selection of points of an indication, etc. If you want to use these parts, contact us for pricing.
Note that using video recordings is not the same as using screenshots (read more on this) or using Tsubook during unrecorded live event (read more on this).
